RVTFC: Troubleshooting¶
A service shows in the wrong colour or isn't filtered¶
- Check the service exists in the Fabrication database with the correct name.
- Open the AutoCAD plugin and check the service is ticked for that view template, then Save to Master Spreadsheet.
- Run Sync Templates on the model.
- For native Revit elements such as air terminals, check the element's <Category> Style value (for example Air Terminal Style) is set to the right service, and not to (none). See How the key works on an element.
An element's Style keeps changing back to a different service¶
Native elements connected to a Fabrication run take their service from that run, so a service changed by hand is put back the next time the run changes. Check which Fabrication service the element is connected to, and change that instead. See What's kept up to date for you.
My changes to a view template keep disappearing¶
Sync resets the parts of each standard template that the master file controls. See What Sync changes. Make your own view template instead of editing a standard one.
Native Revit elements reset to the wrong lineweight or colour¶
Earlier versions couldn't control the colour and lineweight of filters for native Revit elements (the ones driven by key schedules), so every Sync reset them to the wrong lineweight. This is fixed in the latest version, where they're set on the Additional Filters tab of the AutoCAD plugin.
If you still see it:
- Close Revit and reopen it from the Integra shortcut, so you get the latest add-ins.
- Check the filter's colour and lineweight on the Additional Filters tab, and save the master file.
- Run Sync Templates again.
A template was listed in the warnings after Rebuild¶
That template couldn't be rebuilt and was left exactly as it was. Everything else was rebuilt as normal. If it keeps failing, report it with the template name.
